The primary value of this book is how well the author collected all sorts of original photos and drawings of the time period. If you want to find out about what the concert room looked like on the last voyage you need only turn to p. 83. One of my favorite rooms is the Verandah Cafe illustrated on p. 192. First-class seating in the main dining room is illustrated in a large drawing on p. 79. Or if you want to learn what the Lusitania looked like when it was docking in New York for the last time refer to p. 91. Pictures and short bios of notable people of the time period can be found interspersed throughout the book as can illustrations of how women dressed in long gowns with feathers in their hats. At the end the author includes a passenger list for reference.
